The GURU Code is a self-leadership mindset programme for fearless business owners.

During the Discovery process, we uncovered an ambition that informed our route for the project. To be a globally renowned, self-leadership authority. By visualising that successful outcome and looking back, we were able to identify three key pillars to take the brand on that journey.

1. The process name

First, we streamlined the thinking behind the name (which was being used to do a few jobs) and settled upon just one. The GURU code refers to your own personal leadership mindset.

We also created a new strapline which captures the process efficiently.
Crack your code. Lead yourself.

Just five words, but the message comes through loud and clear. Not only is the solution within you, but it is also individual to you. You can discover it by following the code, which will empower you to be a fearless leader.

2. The programme stages

We looked at the programme stages and reimagined them to represent a linear, easy-to-understand structure. Each letter in the word GURU stands for a different step in the process.

Ground - reset and reconnect with your purpose.

Unpack - identify the pain points.

Resource - create solutions.

Utilise - grow into your new strengths.

Supporting graphics were designed for each stage (below), using the same weight of line and rounded ends of the main wordmark and thumbprint icon.

3. The book

Brilliant branding should grab the attention of your audience. Help them to remember you, and also let them know how you can make their life better. It also needs to be flexible and work across all your platforms. Including, in this case, the GURU Code (future) best-selling book!

The creative

The chosen route features a thumbprint graphic that communicates the idea that everybody's leadership style is unique. It's there already, you just need a system to harness it. Only you have the biometrics to unlock your potential. A bespoke wordmark was redrawn from a typeface selected to match the weight and roundness of the icon. The logo also showcases the brand's new, rich colour palette.

Additional supporting graphics were created to support the wider brand messaging. The GURU Code written in morse (above) further references the need to problem solve your way to better leadership. Whilst (below), icons represent, special mastermind sessions, location-based events and residential courses.

Every Valhalla Branding project includes a comprehensive Brand Book, detailing how to apply your brand across multiple touchpoints.
