Festival of Accounting & Bookkeeping - brand extension

Valhalla was commissioned to expand on a few existing brand elements and create a festival-style visual language aimed at promoting the FAB event. Ramping up the excitement for ticket-holders, and encouraging them to attend.

Client Mike Goldsmith from Sift says...

"The brief was a tough one. A quick turnaround of a printed preview programme for a new accounting and bookkeeping festival, that had no existing brand beyond a colour palette and some fonts that had worked for a website but nowhere else.”

“Matt took the brand and evolved it quickly. Adding illustrations, colours and fonts in a way that complemented the message so well, that we ended up using them in the physical build as well.

It was beyond 'simple' artworking and could only have come from someone who understands branding and cared enough to deliver beyond the initial scope.

Based on the quality and effectiveness of his initial work, we also got Matt to produce a printed guide map, a sales brochure and more event collateral."

"Working with Matt at Valhalla is a blast. He takes and interrogates the brief, keeps you informed between calls and delivers on time, at stupidly high quality! Matt is an absolute boss who doesn't just talk it but walks it, too!"

Funky people Illustrations were introduced for the printed collateral and then rolled out across the event signage and stand designs, drawing the brand together and delivering a large slice of fun.
